Next Generation: Mercedes A-Class, Volkswagen Golf 8 and Range Rover Evoque Spy Shots
Have you ever wanted to know what the next generation model of a car you love is going to look like?
We have and are always surfing the net for photos of next gen models being tested and caught hiding in camouflage, or mocked up digital creations from the motoring world, from journos to fanatical fans, on what they believe the next model might look like.
Following are a few of our favourite cars, with more to follow as we uncover...
Mercedes Benz A-Class
A bigger Mercedes A-Class hatch is on the way and will expand to eight models, including sedan and Electric Vehicle models. Our images and spy shots show Mercedes' all-new A-Class being tested in Germany.

The photos reveal a longer A-Class in comparison to the current model. Both the headlights and taillights have been given a sleek LED makeover and the exhausts appear to have been enlarged.

The fourth-generation hatchback is likely to make its world debut in 2018, we wait patiently.

Volkswagen Golf
The hugely popular Golf looks like it will be a sleeker design for the 2018 VW Golf 8.
Outside, the car appears smaller, most likely built on an entirely new platform. New shaped headlights which feature two narrow light heads, narrower grille and a freshly designed bumper stand out.
The rear lights design is innovative and supported with a triangular shape. Exhaust pipelines are now flushed into the bumper design.
The next gen Golf is still an obvious Golf design with the overall silhouette maintaining the boxy design (which we love).
Range Rover Evoque
The Range Rover Evoque Mk2 is in development and this car has been spotted whilst tested in the UK wearing a current model body.

Look closely and you can see it is wider than the current model with the wheel arches also displaying quite a space suggesting the next gen will be bigger.

We can expect the next-generation Evoque to sport a design that follows the direction seen in the new Range Rover Velar and Discovery. The new model is not expected to arrive before 2019.
