Another car we love here at LYR is the hugely popular Mazda 3. So we wonder, what is the next generation model going to look like? Here is a hint from the Tokyo Motor Show.

Meet the Kai Concept, Mazda's latest design language just revealed at the 2017 Tokyo Motor Show.

The fresh new concept could almost be production ready, showing the motoring world a preview of the look of the next generation Mazda 3.

The KAI demonstrates how Mazda’s ‘Kodo’ design language could evolve to include even fewer visual elements, with cleaner, less cluttered surfacing that still manages to give a dramatic look.

Overall the concept appears shorter than the current 3 and sits lower, giving it a sporty hot-hatch look.
