For 2017 the BMW i8 will receive two new editions, adding to the 'Protonic’ Red and Blue launched last year. Frozen Black and Yellow special editions are set to go on sale in April following their debut at the upcoming Geneva International Motor Show.

The new editions not only receive striking new paint but also a handful of individual styling tweaks.

The Frozen Black paint finish is combined with gloss black fascia inserts for a dark look all around. In the cabin, bright yellow contrast stitching is found on the seats and center console, alongside Protonic Frozen Black lettering on the doorsills.

The current price of the BMW i8 is approximately $323,000 with the new release pricing still to-be-confirmed.
