Alfa Romeo Joins The SUV Club

Alfa Romeo has released their brand new SUV into the Euro market and it is being received with rave reviews for bringing its unique breed of Italian style, race car performance, and craftsmanship into an SUV that meets the needs of both driving enthusiasts and everyday life.

Called the Stelvio, named after a famous winding pass in the Italian Alps, this is Alfa’s first ever SUV and from what we can gather, it is going to be a strong and near-excellent contender in the busy SUV market.

The looks are beautiful, as you would expect, with more curves than the traditional SUV square angles, keeping it in line with the Alfa family. The First Edition which is currently being offered in Europe excludes the body kit and aggressive wheels seen in the top line model however still wears 20-inch wheels, colored brake calipers, and splashes of chrome.

Inside the cabin, features include paddle shifters, heated front seats, wood trim, and an 8.8-inch central display screen with navigation.

The new Stelvio, when it arrives later this year, should give the current team of medium luxe SUV’s - which inlcude BMW X3, Audi Q5, Jaguar F-Pace and Mercedes GLC - a run for their money.

Pricing is yet to be confirmed.
