Small SUVs and crossovers are big business in Australia, and the all-new Audi Q2 is designed to tap into this growing segment. The Q2 is the entry point to Audi's off-roader range.

With the baby SUV due for sale in a few weeks, the new Audi Q2 will kick off with a Launch Edition priced from $49,900 boasting a comprehensive list of driver assistance systems including adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go, active lane and side assist. There are also cheaper alternatives to choose from, the 1.4 TFSI (petrol) starting at $41,100 or the 2.0TDI (diesel) Quattro starting at $47,900.

There aren't too many direct rivals for the Q2, but if you're considering one, you may want to look at models such as the Mazda CX-3, MINI Countryman and BMW X1.
