A Porsche Like NEVER BEFORE!
The first Porsche's Panamera was controversial among purists, polarising and some just thought it was simply oversized.
Fast forward to MY17, the second generation, all-new Panamera has gone all glam!
This new car is bigger, wider, taller and rides on a longer wheelbase; and actually looks like a proper Porsche.
Riding on a new platform, there are three new engines, and an array of updated safety and convenience electronics. This new Sports Lux Hatch is up there with the Mercedes Benz S-Class and BMW 7-Series in luxurious comfort, and could even excel these two around twisty roads!
Then Porsche decides to tap into unchartered waters, taking the all new model to a new dimension, introducing the Panamera Sport Turismo, the new wagon version of the lux hatch, creating an instant rivalry to the new Mercedes Benz CLS Shooting Brake.
The practical new Porsche has been on our radar for a while now; having been snapped numerous times by spy photographers across the globe, and will be officially on sale here in November.
Boasting a new “four-plus-one” seating concept along with increased luggage space and a low-loading height, the Panamera Sport Turismo will push Porsche into the wagon buying segment by providing practical motoring though with a very sporty twist.
The fun fact is that the actual tailgate also incorporates a complex active spoiler that enhances the car’s aerodynamic properties. It deploys in three stages based on speed and/or driving mode, and in its sportiest setting is said to create up to 50kg of downforce. After all this is a Porsche!
Pricing starts from $232,000+ up to $391,000+ and includes a diesel model.
