Mini Cooper 2.0 - The Original Mini Cooper Remastered for 21st Century

Are you a Mini purist who believe that no other Mini except the original is the best? Well, you might just be in luck!

A UK based company has taken the original Mini Cooper and remodeled it for the 21st century.

David Brown Automotive has given life to the original city car icon by painstakingly hand building each car, taking approx. 1000 hours to produce.

The re-engineered and modernised original Mini is limited to 100 cars and cost over $82,000, expensive yes, however considering the level of detail included in these bespoke automobiles, it is justified.

Described as the "ultimate classic Mini", each car is nearly identical in terms of size to the original but with brand new, hand-crafted body panels. New structural beams add extra rigidity, while the styling has been updated with a new aluminium grille, LED exterior lights and bespoke headlight bezels.

Unique badging and puddle lights on the wing mirror further signify that this is no ordinary old Mini. For the tech hungry – Apple Carplay is included.

David Brown Automotive is best known recently for building the Speedback GT, a coach built Sixties-inspired model based on the Jaguar XK-R. Now the Coventry-based carmaker has gone to the other end of the market with a coach built version of the original Mini.
