ROLLS ROYCE REVEALS THE SWEPTAIL - A ONE-OFF CUSTOM LUXURY COUPE BUILT FOR ONE WEALTHY CLIENT
Rolls-Royce revealed a one-off bespoke luxury coupe, the Sweptail, at the Villa d’Este car show in Italy, which has been built specifically for one wealthy customer!
The Sweptail, inspired by the Rolls-Royces of the 1920s features a distinctive ‘Swept-tail’ rear end and has only two, very luxurious, seats.
The one-off collector’s item was handmade for one of Rolls-Royce ‘most valued customers’, and was based on the Phantom Coupe, taking two years to complete. While it may share a platform with the Phantom, every panel of bodywork is unique.
The rear tapers into a sharp point and is said to be the “ultimate homage to the world of racing yachts” – another key design influence of the Sweptail.
Rumored to cost approx. $17million, we are unsure whom the buyer is but can safely say they have a distinct luxury car like no other.
