SPOTTED! ALL NEW 2018 VOLKSWAGEN TOUAREG
Volkswagen showed the world what the next generation family SUV was going to look like when it showcased the T-Prime concept back in 2016.

Now we can safely say that the concept to reality is almost spot on, with images of the 2018 model being spotted, just months away from its formal debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September.
The third-generation will take a marked leaped forward in terms of technology, design and connectivity and aim to give the brand a further push into a more premium market to help it rival the likes of Audi and BMW.
Spotted! The New 2018 VW Touareg
The all new model is considerably larger than the outgoing car. It will sit on the VW Group’s MLB architecture, which is also used for the Audi Q7 and Bentley Bentayga; how exclusive!
The Touareg’s proportions will remain close to those of the T-Prime concept, so a wheelbase stretched by 100mm and an increase in overall length of around 200mm is to be expected.

Inside is expected to also be a higher grade, including luxurious soft leather and stitching, positioning the new SUV as more premium than its cousin Skoda Kodiaq.
Those in market for a premium SUV - Mercedes Benz GLE, BMW X5, Volvo XC90, and Lexus RX should explore this new vehicle when it reaches our shores early 2018.
Pricing to be confirmed; hopefully it will have a starting price similar to the current model, from $68,000.
