Fisker the Electric Car Company returns with an all-new EV: the Fisker EMotion
Fisker, known as the other electric car company in the United States is making a return after declaring bankruptcy in 2014.
Previously the Karma was the only model by the maker and was plagued with battery problems, however with new owners and a new direction, ‘new’ Fisker Inc is set to target Tesla, and other EV motorcar makers.

Releasing teaser photos of their 2019 production vehicle, the Fisker EMotion is penned to deliver an astounding 640 klm electric range and a top speed of 260 kph. Being a completely new model from the ground up, the new EMotion combines a carbon fiber and aluminum structure to save weight, which is the current aim for all car makers.

Photos show a four door body with a coupe like design, distinct front end with split headlights and a small chrome-covered grille, as well as a small boot spoiler. Large ultra-light carbon fiber and aluminum wheels reduce rotational mass by 40% thus improving electric range. Side mirrors conceal two cameras, which enable panoramic, 360-degree views to the driver.

The cabin we are advised will feature a luxurious and spacious feel with superior rear legroom.
The battery of the new EMotion can also be charged very quickly; in 9 minutes you can have 160 kilometres added to your range.
We look forward to seeing how this all-new EV takes off in this exciting segment and hope that one day it will reach our shores.
