ALL NEW 2017 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS COUPE BRINGING CURVES BACK
The all luxury grand tourer is a big step forward compare to its predecessor, not only in looks, but also performance.
Mercedes-Benz have been building beautiful coupes for years and each model over time end up becoming classics, sought by collectors.
We weren't so in love with the previous model E-Class coupe; as you may recall, it consisted of sharp angles and heavy creases, and a miss match front that may have been found on an American car from the 80’s.
We are happy to report that Mercedes-Benz is back in the styling business with the all new coupe, where the sharp angles have been replaced by smooth flowing curves. Notice the B-pillars continuing the uninterrupted curved flow.
We have to make a special mention of the complex multibeam LED headlamps with 84 individually controllable LEDs, which not only project one of the brightest (and safest) beams available today, but also provide a stunning light show when unlocked – front and rear.
Inside the coupe you feel like sitting in a home cinema with a giant widescreen up front and enough Burmester speaker grilles for the full surround-sound experience from behind the wheel.
The front buckets are superbly designed with great support from the side bolster. The wood trim gives the feel of a luxury yacht, what you would expect from a GT car.
Pricing starts at $106,000 for the E220d through to $160,000 for the high performance E400.
