AMG Project One Hypercar Gets Formula 1 Hybrid Technology

Incorporating Formula 1 hybrid technology into everyday driving, the AMG Project ONE is a world first.

Released to the world at the Frankfurt Motor Show, the supercar from AMG has been inspired by Formula 1 Racing which will trickle down into road cars of the future. This is one fast car, sprinting from 0-200kmh in less than 6 seconds.

The Hypercar uses a 1.6-litre turbocharged hybrid V6 (including 4 electric motors producing 764kw) that has powered the German marque’s Formula 1 entry since 2014, and although it is a concept car, Mercedes says it gives a ‘close indication’ of what to expect from the upcoming production model due in 2019.

Expect a whopping price tag, we hear in the millions!
