ALL NEW THIRD-GEN 2018 BENTLEY CONTINENTAL GT REVEALED AT FRANKFURT MOTOR SHOW

Driven by the world’s elite, the Bentley Continental GT has been the motoring choice for many celebrities. Now in its 3rd generation the all-new 2018 Bentley Continental GT has been revealed at the Frankfurt Motor Show bringing a new look, the availability of high-end technology and even more power.

The Continental GT is still instantly recognisable as a Bentley tourer thanks to its huge front grille and four circular headlights, but now has a squarer and more muscular design compared to its curvy predecessor. Being an all-new body it is also 80 kilograms lighter than the outgoing model.

Inside the huge coupe's cabin is pure luxury. The introduction of a new 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay sits as a centerpiece on the dash. When the Continental GT is switched off, the facia looks like a single, flush piece of wood veneer. Fire up the ignition and the screen rotates to show the infotainment system.

Elsewhere in the cabin there’s greater scope than ever before for customisation, with a wider range of veneers (choice of 8) and a new Côtes de Genève turned metal finish. Owners can also pair selected colours on the dash for a contrast effect. There’s a wider range of hide, too, with 15 finishes to choose from.

Pricing is yet to be confirmed; with the current model starting in the high $400k, we don’t expect this figure to be heading south. Definitely not an issue for Bentley-loving celebrities, like Paris Hilton pictured here with her famous pink Bentley Continental GT!
