Ferrari To Enter The SUV Market in 2019

First it was Bentley, then Lamborghini, and Rolls Royce is just around the corner. So would it make sense then, for Ferrari to join the SUV club?

Speaking at the 2018 Detroit Motor Show, Fiat (Ferrari brand owner) boss Sergio Marchionne said ‘we'll be seeing the Ferrari SUV sooner than we thought’. With the new model arriving as early as 2019 and is set to be the fastest vehicle of its type.

Jokingly penned as the FUV (Ferrari Utility Vehicle) back in 2017, the supercar brand will enter the lucrative SUV to increase sales beyond the current 10k units per year, and hopefully have the same sales success as experienced by Porsche with their Cayenne SUV.

Images show a conservative look (at least compared to the Lamborghini Urus striking angles), and we can’t wait to see what is going on under the bonnet!

Currently the pending SUV is in mock up forms so the motoring world waits with anticipation to see this next exciting chapter for Ferrari to unfold.
