2019 Porsche Macan Gets A Facelift
The Porsche Macan has had a facelift…and believe us when we say no fold has been left untucked. In fact, if there was a car that could be compared to a Kardashian, with all its cosmetic upgrades, this would be it.
Already holding a solid reputation in market as a high-performing SUV, the new Macan boasts very few changes to its original engineering — a true testament to the vehicle’s immaculate build. Rather, what you will find in the new release is a long list of comfort features and cosmetic details that are sure to grab the attention of the luxury SUV market.
From a tech perspective, the most notable upgrade is the introduction of Porsche’s intelligent Communication Management system, which offers enhanced voice control and online navigation. This is coupled with a new 11-inch touch screen; a sizeable increase on the original seven-inch screen found in the 2014 model.
Another big win is the introduction of adaptive LED headlights as a standard, and impressive 20-inch or 21-inch wheel and tyre combinations. For those looking to tick some of the ‘extras’ boxes, options include; GT sports steering wheel, heated windscreen and traffic jam assist.
If this doesn’t make statement enough, Porsche will also be releasing the vehicle in five new custom colours, ranging from ‘Miami Blue’ to ‘Mamba Green Metallic’, just to name a few.
Having previously sold 350,000 Macans worldwide in just under five years, and an Australian release date of early 2019, we’re itching to see whether Porsche’s latest release can live up to its big family reputation.
