2019 All New Range Rover Evoque Details
Did you know? The Range Rover Evoque has been the fastest selling brand for Land Rover. Now the company has revealed the second generation model, with comparable looks to the first generation model, however will include more advanced tech and hybrid power.
Range Rover Evoque invented the premium compact SUV segment and sales went through the roof in Australia, with 800,000 cars sold over the last eight years. Perhaps this is why the new model looks just as identical as its previous version - to maintain the distinctive DNA. Rest assured though the SUV is a completely new car, Land Rover claims 99.9% of the 2019 Evoque’s body is all new.
Modern design details like the smoother integrated grille, hidden flush door handles, slimmer headlights, clear lines and precise panel gaps make the Evoque look and feel more grown up and sophisticated. The second generation model becomes a more family friendly five door only, no more three door design. It is now 10mm wider and 11mm shorter, providing a sporty look to the car.
Land Rover says most Evoques will feature some level of electrification; a mild-hybrid (MHEV) version of the car-maker’s turbocharged 2.0 litre ingenium petrol and diesel powertrains. The system allows the car to coast at speed below 17km/h, idling the engine to save fuel in many situations.
We are excited for this new SUV to arrive, and it is set to arrive around the second quarter of 2019 with prices beginning from $64,640, excluding on-road costs.
