Jaguar Releases Details of The All New I-Pace Electric Vehicle Due Later This Year
Jaguar has announced details of their exciting all-new electric vehicle, the I-Pace, ahead of its Australian launch later this year.
We were super excited when the concept was shown to the world back at the 2016 LA Motor Show and even more so now to see this new SUV in the flesh.
There will be four trim levels of the I-Pace available from launch – S, SE, HSE and First Edition, with pricing starting at $119,000 (excluding on road costs).
All models will have the same 294kw electric drivetrain mated with 90kw lithium-ion battery pack, which will allow you to travel up to 480 kilometres.
Photos show the car to be very modern and luxe with various features including 20-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights, eight-way semi-powered sports seats, ‘Luxtec’ upholstery, the Touch Duo Pro dual-screen infotainment system, Navigation Pro and Connect Pro plus the Park pack which includes automated parking.
For those wanting to pick the ‘top of the line’ you will need to fork out $159,700 for the First Edition, which adds exclusive ‘Windsor’ leather interior, a head-up display, fixed panoramic roof, quad-zone climate control, and configurable ambient interior lighting.
We can only think of one competitor right now for the Jaguar I-Pace being the Tesla Model X, so it will be interesting to see how they compare. We wait patiently (with excitement)!
