Meet Keith Pulbrook

“I love that I get to talk about cars all day and I love getting to know our clients and helping them choose the right car.”

Since childhood Keith has been obsessed with cars. In 1978 he collected his first car brochures and he’s been hooked ever since. In 1981 he pretended to be doing a school assignment to get brochures from Rolls Royce in South Yarra (he still has them). Keith spent years working in senior account management roles for leading advertising agencies, working on clients including Holden and SAAB. Later, he worked as a sales manager for Wheels, Motor Magazine and carsales.com.au. What started helping female friends buy cars turned into a business with the launch of Her Drive in 2017.

Together with his partner Luke, Keith has owned more than 24 cars and he also collects model cars. He really is a walking, talking car fanatic.

Leonara Shannon

“When I was heavily pregnant buying our first family car with my husband the dealer kept speaking to my husband and ignoring me - I couldn’t believe it!”

Leonara’s career started in marketing and advertising, working for brands including Holden, L’Oreal and Kraft. She then moved to media sales, working for Harper’s BAZAAR, Women’s Weekly and Cosmopolitan. Like Keith, Leonara can talk about cars all day long.

Her first car was a Toyota Starlet, but she really fell in love with cars when she bought her second car, a VW Golf 2.0L Sport. She loved the gutsy power and the style of the interiors and could not believe how well it drove for a small car. From then on, she always wanted performance and style in her cars. She’s passionate about helping women buy cars and she knows first hand how dealers can underestimate women buyers.
